Background/Bio

Joshua Bush grew up in the family travel business. After graduating from the University of Richmond Jepson School of Leadership Studies, he spent almost a decade in consumer finance and commercial real estate. He joined Park Avenue Travel in 2006 as “the succession plan” and with leadership experience in both sales and project management, he was tasked with growing and developing a thriving travel agency. To do that, Bush rebranded the company and positioning it for growth as Avenue Two Travel. Over the past 14 years, he has helped build an organization that rests on a strong foundation of technology, training and mentoring; and one that helps bring in new talent from outside industries. While total growth has exceeded 10x that of when he started, Bush is most excited about the growth that is yet to come.

As CEO, he has developed and built the travel firm of the future. As a sought after thought leader, Joshua has helped shape the travel industry with his work on boards and various committees. Bush currently serves as the Vice Chair for the Virtuoso Member Advisory Board advising and directing the world’s foremost luxury travel network. Due to his unique perspective and long-term future focus, he is often pursued by numerous travel companies for consultation and advice. He has served on and consulted for numerous advisory boards and panels including: AFAR Magazine, Marriott International Luxury Brands (Ritz-Carlton, St Regis etc) Luxury Travel Advisor Magazine, Accor Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Park Hyatt, Viceroy, Classic Vacations and more. Bush has been quoted and has appeared in the New York Times, CNN, CBS, Travel + Leisure, and is a regular in trade publications. His goal has always been to develop colleagues, elevate the industry, and increase recognition for clients.
